Introduction to Sites

System Objects will get to the Edge through a Site.

A Site houses the configuration of System Objects that are used by a given Edge or group of Edges.

Any given Site will pull the desired System Objects for its configuration, and its Edges will then pull their configuration from that Site.

Edge devices will not be built, they will be attached to a Site;  all configurations will be done at the Site level.  Therefore, instead of the configuring of devices, the configuring will be of Sites.

The benefit of this model is that the attribute is defined only once, and the desired Graphiant Edges simply grab that configuration from their Site.

Edges will be configured through their Site with System Objects;  they will be maintained and further configured through that Site.

Each Edge will be attached to only one Site.

Graphiant is moving towards having all configuration done at the Site level.
