What is Included in Organization Settings?

The Organization Settings include account information such as Name, ID, and Admin Email, along with the ability to set preferences for the environment.

Organization Settings include:

  • Compliance Settings:  Gives the ability to enable/disable Graphiant Support's access

  • Portal Banner Message:  Create/edit the pop-up message when customers log in

Locating Organization Settings in the Graphiant Portal

From the Graphiant Portal Home Page, click 'Organization Management' from the sidebar.

Select 'Organization Settings'.

This will bring up the Organization Settings screen.

The following is included here for informational purposes only and is non-editable:

  • Name:  Company name

  • Enterprise ID:  The Graphiant ID number of the company

  • Admin Email:  Email of the designated admin within the company

The areas that the admin can change are ‘Graphiant Remote Support’ and the ‘Portal Banner Message’.

Graphiant Remote Support

Graphiant offers the option to disable Remote Support if desired.

By default, Graphiant Support is able to access the environment for any troubleshooting needs; the compliance setting 'Graphiant Remote Support' is on.

Graphiant Support's access into the environment is limited to a read-only view when the compliance setting 'Graphiant Remote Support' is off.

Note:

If Graphiant Remote Support is disabled and Graphiant Support is called to troubleshoot and make any changes, 'Graphiant Remote Support' will have to be enabled.  Remote Support can again be disabled once the Support team has concluded.

Disabling Graphiant Remote Support

To disable Graphiant Remote Support and limit access to read-only, click the toggle.

A pop-up will appear to confirm disabling Graphiant Remote Support.

Click 'Confirm'.

Graphiant Remote Support access is now disabled.

Enabling Graphiant Remote Support

To enable Graphiant Remote Support to allow access for troubleshooting, click the toggle.

A pop-up will appear to confirm enabling Graphiant Remote Support.

Click 'Confirm'.

Graphiant Remote Support is now enabled.

Portal Banner Message

Graphiant offers the ability to create a pop-up message that will appear when a user logs in.

Creating a Portal Banner Message

To create a banner message, click the pencil icon.

The Banner Message space will open up with a text box and formatting options:

  • Font Size:  The font size selected is the one shown.  Clicking on it will bring up the other options.  Choose between Heading, Subheading, and Normal.

  • Font : The font selected is the one shown.  Clicking on it will bring up the other options.  Choose between Sans Serif, Serif, and Monospace.

  • Bold:  Click button / highlight text to bold the text. 

  • Italics:  Click button / highlight text to italicize the text.

  • Underline:  Click button / highlight text to underline the text.

  • Text Color:  Click button / highlight text to choose a text color;  default is black.

  • Background Color:  Click button / highlight text to choose a background color;  default is white.

  • Numbering:  Click button / highlight text  to label lines numerically.

  • Bulleting:  Click button / highlight text to label lines with bullet points.

  • Alignment:  Choose from Justified, Right Justified, Left Justified and Centered.

  • Add link:  Highlight the text to be linked;  Click 'Link' symbol;  Enter URL to which the link will lead;  Click 'Save'.  'Edit' and 'Remove' also available here once created.

  • Attach Photo:  Click symbol to attach a photo.

  • Code snippet:  Click symbol to change text to HTML.

Click 'Save'.

The Banner Message is now saved.

Upon user login, the Portal Banner Message will appear.

The user will click 'Close' to clear the message.

Editing a Portal Banner Message

To edit a Banner Message, click on the pencil icon.

Make the desired adjustments.

Click 'Save'.

The Banner Message is now changed.

Deleting a Portal Banner Message

To delete a Banner Message, click the pencil icon.

Click 'Delete'.

The Portal Banner Message is now removed.
