After downloading the Virtual Machine Workstation, you will be greeted by the Homepage.
Select ‘Create a New Virtual Machine’.
Then select which type of configuration you desire. In this example, we are selecting Custom (advanced) virtual machine.
The use will will then choose the virtual machine Hardware Compatibility. Currently we support VMware ESXi 6.5 and higher.
Next, you will be prompted to select the Operating System Installer.
Please select the Graphiant Operating Software Image from downloads.
Next, select the Operating System of Linux as Guest Operation system, version Debian 10.x 64-bit.
Next, name the virtual machine (for example: Graphiant).
Name can be up to 128 alpha/numeric characters and include (-) or (_).
Now you will be prompted to set up the Processor Configurations.
Next, select the Memory for the Virtual machine.
Note:
8GB or higher is recommended.
You will now be prompted to select which Networking Type they want to add.
Network Options:
Use Bridged Networking
Use Network Address Translation (NAT)
Use Host-Only Networking
Do not use a network Connection
After selecting Network type, you will be advised to select the “Recommended” feature for Controller Type (LSI Logic).
For disk type, select the “Recommended” Disk Type (SCSI).
When choosing which disk, select ‘Create a new Virtual Disk’.
Now you will be prompted to Specify Disk Capacity.
Confirm the Virtual Machine name, and select where to store the disk file.
Finally, select ‘Finish’ at the bottom of the screen to create the Virtual Machine.
