Introducing Graphiant Network-as-a-service
Modern business runs on connectivity. This was easy when connectivity spanned a few data centers, offices and a single cloud. But as the world shifts to a dynamic service-economy model, managing connectivity has become complex, costly, and cumbersome.
Businesses are now faced with an ever-growing need to connect a sprawling landscape of clouds, remote workers, partner and customer sites, and a growing catalogue of IoT devices—and they need to scale all of these networks with extreme agility.
What businesses truly need is any-to-any connectivity with full visibility and service-economy level agility, all within one centralized portal—and this is precisely what Graphiant’s Network-as-a-service (NaaS) is designed to deliver.
At Graphiant, our fundamental mission is to eliminate the complexity in networking needs today in order to accelerate you and your business goals, by eliminating the challenges surrounding the kinds of complicated migraine-inducing constructs that have historically been used to connect distinct business entities.
Today’s Limitations: MPLS or SD-WAN
The internet is an ocean of content, with isolated enterprises walled off from one another, waiting for an infrastructure to connect them together both securely and dependably.
Historically, when it comes to networking, in order to achieve secure and dependable connectivity as an enterprise, you typically have two options: either MPLS or SD-WAN.
With MPLS you get a private network infrastructure managed and delivered to you by a service provider. This guarantees you SLA and QoS, with the security of a private infrastructure but without encryption. The challenge with MPLS however is that they are incredibly expensive, and the control is entirely in the service provider’s hands. This limits your ability to make changes that better align with your business needs.
With SD-WAN, enterprises could now use commodity connectivity via the internet to build an enterprise infrastructure. This gave you more bandwidth, policy control and some visibility, but along with that came the complexity of building and operating your own network.
This is why we created Graphiant: a private network service that you simply consume which still provides you the service levels, security, and QoS you get today from your MPLS, but returns to you the ability to program your own policy decisions with granular visibility and control.
Graphiant Network-as-a-service combines the best of MPLS and SD-WAN into a single solution that frees you from the things you don’t need to manage, gives you control where you need it, is fully secure end-to-end, and costs a fraction of these legacy solutions.
