# Deploying a Hardware Edge Using Zero Touch Provisioning

## What steps are required to bring up my Hardware Device?

### Booting Up:

1. Unpack the device.
2. Identify the white power button labeled (C) in the diagram on the back lefthand side of the device to power up the unit. In certain models, it may require a screwed-in power cable to secure.
3. Push the Power button (C) on the back of the device.
4. Identify and connect port #1 labeled (F) in the diagram to an ethernet cable .

- **Dynamic Connectivity** - The device will connect automatically
- **Static Connectivity** - A second cable will be needed. Plug in a second cable into the device and use your laptop to complete the installation process by using the local web server on the edge.

1. Complete remainder of cabling.
2. Set up for the device is complete and onboarding of the new hardware edge device begins.
